What utter rubbish.
I flew QF 737 BNE MEL a year ago when the belt signs came on and off no less than 10 times in the 1:50 min flight. Some times it was only on for 3 mins or less!! I kid you not.......
We all got a bit jack of the "The seat belt sign is now on, all passengers and crew must be immediately seated........"
