I can't believe this has surfaced yet again! The R66 and the EC120 are like chalk and cheese, or for a more accurate analogy, a Caterham and a BMW. One is designed to be cheap, basic and functional with a relatively high power to weight ratio (and ugly IMO), the other is designed is to be sophisticated, solid and spacious with modern avionics/construction (and elegant).
You pays your money, you takes your choice; at the end of the day, the most suitable machine is one that ticks most boxes against your own requirements and priorities.
