Who said BMW's are good anyway ?! (I don't agree with the analogy at all by the way).
Not me, but they are a different class whether you like it or not, Robinson Helicopters are mass produced and are cheaper to purchase and to build, this is fact, like the humble Nissan or Toyota or call it what you will.
The Eurocopter are sold in smaller numbers cost more to produce and are sold for more $$$ (just like a baby BMW or Mercedes-Benz), they also use a more advanced tail rotor design, main rotor head, composite MR blades and extensive use of composites in the fuselage, computerised systems, crash worthy seats, utility cabin, sliding door etc etc..
Just like a Cabri G2 is not the same as a 22, there is a price difference and both seat 2 people, forget about the car analogy, they are two different pedigree of choppers.
