I still have all my ONCs purchased when I started with Dz in early 1990 though they are a bit worn. We mainly used TPCs but unfortunately most of those were destroyed after they fell to bits!
I once spoke to the owner of a map shop in Adelaide who informed me that ONCs of PNG which covered bits of Irian Jaya were unobtainable and on a 'restricted' list. I have no idea if this is still (or ever was) the case.
If you truly have a digitised PNG WAC I would love a copy
