- Some experienced BI guys have been given interview. More than likely for a CI base than anything else.
- FO numbers are down about 20 bodies from a few years ago with no real change in fleet size.
- Up until about a year ago, most FO's (and junior Cpts) didn't meet the minimum's for the Middle East. Thats all starting to change and people are starting to disappear off to play in the sand.
- BE picked up a few old BMi Baby routes.
- Wildly rumoured takeover of KLM/AF regional routes into the UK.
- Even more wildly rumoured takeover of BACF after the Olympics.
All in all, not surprised Flybe keen to start building up a hold pool.
