That is a LOT for a SE TP.
Capital cost is probably the main factor here. Purchase price is 1.3m€ + VAT. If you depreciate over 20 years and fly 200h a year, then it's €325/h depreciation and at 5% interest another €325/h for interest.
I'm pretty sure it will eventually become a success. Its direct competitor is the Cessna P210 Silver Eagle which is a very old bird with poor pressurization. The PT6 competition (Malibu/Jetprop) cruises at higher altitudes at higher fuel burn and it's an old airframe. The Rolls-Royce 250 turbine is very attractive for the typical European mission.
