My first point, about not being that stupid, no one could be THAT blind to engagement. It's all part of the effort to get guys to walk from all ranks.
bdcer, I get all that but again, why bother with the spin? Why bother at all? I presume you mean that they're bothering with the spin because they know it disenfranchises people even further? I'm not sure that's even possible!
