PT, you seem to have a rather exaggerated contempt for SWIP. Have they harmed or insulted you in a direct manner?
The current layoffs are due to the freefall of the rupee. All dollar expenses have gone up by about 20%. As our fearless leader has proclaimed, the primary goals are freezing/reduction of dollar expenses. The logical fallout of this is the axing of expats. Doubt SWIP played any direct role in this. If they did I guess their master plan to bring the airline down on it's knees is well into it's initial stages.
