captainkilner:
I know for a fact that at least manual re-mark has resulted in an upgraded result, however, apparently the guy involved was expecting a good pass in the subject, but initially given a silly mark like 37%. Someone obviously put the paper the wrong way through the machine or something along those lines.
All of June's papers had to be re-marked for some reason the CAA haven't publicised as far as I know; at least one paper was upgraded from 74% to 75% - I'm sure there's a groundschool bod or two lurking who know more of this story.
Despite all this, if I was in you shoes, I'd just accept you've failed, and book the resit ASAP. I picked up a couple of resits, and that's just what I did. Incidentally, just past my last one - PoF 85%

14/14 for me!
EDIT: just re-read the last post. As might have been mentioned, I'm 95% sure you can only appeal the questions set BEFORE the results are issued, after which, the manner in which the paper was marked is your only avenue.
