Just possibly some of the BD routes that were closed by LH (in order to recycle slots) were not so loss-making as was implied, and BA may see some potential in reviving them.
As mentioned before on another thread, the BD name is well known and has/had a good reputation in the UK, Ireland and the "near abroad".
