BACF's existence allows BA to operate more big jets out of LHR.... BACF is inheriting BA and BMI airbus routes, so that a jumbo or a 777 can replace those heathrow slots. Therefore in a way it is somewhat irrelevant if BACF makes profit or not as out of its existence the BA group will make more money! At the moment LCY is the answer to the third runway....
