You also had plenty of Gold card holders in the regions - didn't seem to deter BA management shutting down Manchester, Birmingham, etc.

The New York service is operated by BA Mainline so not relevant. If profits are not reported seperately they might be losing millions even after buying all the ERJs and investing in a really decent product, however seeing as prices are usually above LHR levels and well above LGW on competing routes, I would think not.
