The SCOPE agreement is still firmly in place. (Nobody flies >100 seats out of London unless they are Mainline, hence the Embraer 190SR (scope restriction ! ) has 98 seats. The Edi base was required at start up as BACF were flying 110 seat RJ's until a 'deal' could be done with Mainline Balpa.
The Edi base remains as a cost effective supply of crews for Summer charters which historically have been from Scotland and the North.
The Lcy base is now much larger in crew numbers.
