Last Thursday the Euro Manx got out of LPL in from of the ATP on the early morning slot - looked like they were trying to show they were better than BACE.
The reason why BFS-LPL is so busy is that the prices offered by EZY are attracting traffic from ferries, railways and NatEx/Ulsterbus services from/to NI. Just like the battle on BFS-GLA/EDI the locos are now battling the ferry companies for footpax traffic as prices are competitive - the NI-Scotland ferry services have always been as busy as Dover-Calais for footpax with up to 24 crossings per day which carried a lot of pax - EZY/Go have capitalized on this traffic. It is not new business just "switch mode".
