EK has a habit of sacking after incidents regardless of fault or blame.

I personally prefer the CX method of dealing with these things: Don't say too much at the time, but keep it all stored in a super secret file, and then at some later date more convenient for their industrial agenda, sack a bunch of individuals (say, 49 for example) en-masse, and then refuse to tell them why they were sacked, other than "for no particular reason"
