Lovely departure time out of DXB.
Not surprising since a huge percentage of flights leave DXB in the wee hours of the morning.
How does one prepare for a 2:20AM departure (12 hour flight?) and maintain alertness? I guess that departure leg will be flown by the First Officer(s)... Sounds exhausting regardless of the fleet. Thank god for the crew bunks.
On a positive note, I have visited the Washington DC area in the Fall season (latter October time frame) and it is lovely - cool temperatures and beautiful changing leaf colours.
