The company does take grade 3s, normally senior 3s. The number of grade 3s is capped due to the large amount of solo done, grade 3s are limited on what they can sign out, if you cannot sign flights out makes the other instructor workload increase. Also the direct supervision aspect comes into play.

At the moment we have a few too many grade 3's at the moment and need the ones here to get upgraded to grade 2's before we employ more. That does not take that long doing 60-80 hours a month.

I would strongly suggest to put some thought into puttng an application in. The person to contact is the ops manager - [email protected] ph 08 9417 4777

You will need to pull your finger out when you start, learn the standard operating procedures. Doing 30000+ hours a year of training every instructor needs to teach the same way.

Prefer people who can work as part of a team, and that have worked in the country before. If you can demostrate this include it in your application.

References/background WILL be checked, so do not B/S on your application.

If you get an interview, show some interest and drive out to Merredin and try and see whats it like during the day, and after work with the guys and gals.

The salary you stated is incorrect, grade 3 instructors employed by flight ops start with grade 2 pay which currently is over $32000.

Basic formula for the pay is GA pilots award plus 5% plus $2500 Merredin allowance. If you qualify to teach CIR sim (by holding or held a IFR rating and passed the company CIR sim standardisation) you will get the IFR allowance in the award which is about $3800.

Leave is as per the award, ie you get a leave loading (extra holiday spending money) on a portion of your leave.

Edited : sorry had the wrong email address for the ops manager
