My point about the base being that, instead of opening on "home" spanish turf (which I doubt is any less brown) they are opening in a foreign market notionally up against airlines whose economics revolve around P2F and 1200 euro a month co-pilots.
To be competitive I cannot see that they will be able to offer anything significantly better especially if they pay the type rating, although I would love to be proved wrong. There may well be a gap at Venice to be filled although Air One are also looking at this.
I wish them well but I hope everyone will cordially decline the invitation to hand over 460 notes.
