Judging by the timing and the type the operate I am more inclined to think this outfit is rising from the ashes of Spanair...
What the salary has to do with the country of basing is a concept that escapes me, maybe you want to explain that as well.
Not long ago they held a Cabin Crew's recruitment day in VCE, lots of guys & gals interested but, after the salary was disclosed (and the other "perks" such as pay-4-ur-uniform, training, etc,etc...), ALL of them turned around and walked out. Now...tell me that Italy's economics are in top-shape and all those folks were spoiled ones, all wanted to be fed with a silver spoon...
