I'm definitely looking into KA and also Air Japan. After reading what I've read about the CX SO position and talking to a few guys, to take on the job would be to bring down this 'career' to a lower standard of pay for what a pilot should be paid for his exp. No interest in taking part in that.
I was initially under the impression that there was some sort of a transition course to a quick upgrade (6 months) for typed guys with heavy time. Someone called it senior SO
