I spent 8 days camped at the base of the big mountain in the distance about 30m from te water with a bunch of rock climbing mates. The scrub is very thick, and finding spots for bush walking tents difficult.
Tiger snakes abound, and te climbing spectacular, if somewhat undergraded.
No reason not to camp on the beach I guess. Tide dependent. Here's a pic from the other side of the headland.
