Killiecrankie on the north western tip of Flinders Island is a great little hamlet. They were building holiday cabins when I was last there 13 years ago. There's a good strip there too.
Stunning beaches, clear water, although a tad fresh. The strip is (obscured) at the bottom of this pic.
