All great advice from Old Akro...there is plenty to see and do in the area & quite a lot of hype being generated around this event! Just a couple of things to be aware of: there is no Mobil at Pt Augusta anymore but the bowser that is there operates by normal credit card swipe (or AVFUELSA carnet). Also, if you're planning on going in to Olympic Dam, you will need to fill out a written application form and submit it 3 days prior to the day you intend to land.
