The new rules come into effect on March 1st and are mostly CAAC driven.
Simply put, there is no job security here (in China) anymore...
Evidently, from the recent management “safety” meeting, the foreign pilot group make 3 to 4 times as many mistakes as the Chinese……give me a break.
Rumour has it that the new contract will see the Bus drivers earn US$14500/m and the commuters around US$11600/m, haven’t heard anything about the Boeing guys but my guess will be that they’ll take a “wait and see” approach pending the number of people signing up during the Wasinc roadshow.
SZX will never meet the market as their flawed belief living in Shenzhen is worth the money they pay.
Still, with a “commuter” schedule of 70/20 compared to many other airlines offering 6/2 and 6/3 etc, I wonder if the privilege of living in Shenzhen will still be worth it.
