Unfortunately, there are many pilots who are about to drink the recruitment agency kool-aid regarding employment in China. These agencies are shamefully misrepresenting the facts in order to secure their fees. In any other industry these “businesses” would be brought to account for false advertising. Agency representatives have even purported to be members of this website in an attempt to groom prospective applicants.

There are many threads detailing the pitfalls of an “opportunity of a lifetime” to “experience China”. I suggest anyone considering attending the Pan Am/WASINC sponsored, Chinese sales pitch in Miami, or any other offer of liquid refreshment regarding China, research as much as they can. Start here:
