Non-radio......might I remind you of the invaluable assistance "Americans" provided to the "early" English in our country.....that allowed the visitors to still be around for that day. Those that formed the involuntary welcoming committee and later became mentors on indigenous farming methods provided that "local" knowledge that went a long way in ensuring the success of that latter bunch of treaspassers. Please to recall the first bunch in the coastal regions of North Carolina did not fare as well and disappeared during the first winter.
Thanksgiving Day is a good family holiday, usually in the middle of deer hunting season, start of the Christmas shopping season, lots of football games to watch. But, we should all take time out to reflect on the things we have to be thankful for and give thanks for those blessings we enjoy.
