JAR license revalidation

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can help me with a question re. JAR prof checks as I googled for a good hr but can't really grasp it for sure.

I have a JAR CPL ME IR and my MEP IR is due to expire.

Now as I understand it, to revalidate it (in the acft, not a sim) I have to either proof I did 10 sectors on a MEP IR aircraft within the past year / period of validity or fly ONE check flight with an examiner.

On the other side I have also heard I need to do one prof check flight AND one ride with an examiner (so TWO flights in total?) if I do not have 10 sectors in the last year.

Any help & pointers to the right part of JAR FCL 1 would be very much appreciated - this is my first JAR revalidation so I'm a wee bit confused by what people say - so much easier in FAAland
