TRD rwy 09 visual approach
Hi,
a bit windy was today and my first time in TRD.

I noticed that local guys flew visual approach 09 and came towards rwy from left (sea) side. Final turn to rwy was made quite late(500 feet maybe). I flew ILS...not a nice memory. Is there less gusts then You do visual from left of centerline.

Can someone please shear some approach tips in TRD for rwy 09 in extreme south winds.
