Why ? in a word. . . . greed.
Most of Ryanairs profits this last ten years have come, in reality, from buying big bunches of Boeings at half price, selling them at full price to leasing companies, & sticking the money in the bank, airfares have very little to do with it.
I wonder what prognosis Norwegian have made of the future of Europe to think that they can expand beyond Ryanair & charge normal fares thereby making money, or have they also raped Boeing ( & Airbus) as MOL claimed & undoubtedly did, do ?
