The "Easy" Way?
Just thought this should be brought to the attention of all of those thinking of going to Easy Jet.
It appears the management seem rather worried about an impending mass exodus of Flight Deck.
Some fellow colleagues who are in the proccess of leaving this (warm and friendly?) company, have been told that the company will make it as difficult as possible for them to leave.
Many threats are being made by the managers of certain bases.
One of these is that references for Airport ID applications, will be based on the full payment of any outstanding bond owed before leaving the company. If this is not done, you are deemed to be "dishonest and untrustworthy" for purposes of the ID application.
An interesting view!
You are good enough to hold an ID for Easy Jet, but Easy Jet Management feel you are unfit to hold an ID for another airline.
According to the law this starts to become "a restriction to trade" and if that happens, it brings into question the whole ethics of bonding in the first place. Thanks Easy Jet!
