You drive the IP (N2) compressor by opening the VIGV and then N2 first stage compressor blades can be accessed by sticking in a special tool (stick) between 2 fanblades and VIGV.
Or if your really lucky someone with skinny hands and arms can do the same with their fingers....They soon learn not to go too fast when they don't pull their fingers back quick enough to avoid the next approachining blade!
