As I posted on this thread on 10th November, EK going double daily at GLA is easily the best result for Scotland as any of the other rumoured operations would have split the Gulf and beyond market over different airlines, different airports, or both. The EK double daily at GLA should be a sustainable success which in turn may attract other long haul operators to Scotland.
