As far as I remember no pop up, and no extra space for adding information.
Some browser do not perform very well with certain websites. I do not mean it is the reason in your case, but I have found only IE (I do not use on daily basis) can perform properly with certain website. I think I used initially Chrome, but I got problems then I moved to IE.
Otherwise, do it from another computer, with a different configuration.
