An Arrow isn't necessarily the minimum type. There isn't a requirement for retractable undercarriage (a retrograde step, IMO). Any type that has a variable speed prop and, unless it's changed, can cruise at 120kts or more on book figures meets the criteria. A Tobago, for example, is acceptable. Only just because the book says you need 75% to get a few kts over 120kt, but that's all that counts.

You could also do the test in a twin. Can't remember if variable pitch & speed requirements apply. Not that it matters - not many multis that don't have variable pitch or cruise <120kts.
