Sorry I'm only talking from memory here but I do recall reading the number 250 in a FLY NAVY mag....
Even the previously mentioned F/L George Black at the time if I recall correctly, was personally, responsible for something like 8 ground kills. So I may be wrong but I think FAA Seahawk squadrons must have been responsible for a large number of EAF a/c destroyed on the ground.
