Only met the fungal faced one once - at Deci shortly after the Malvinas thing. Came across as a bit of an ar$e - and he droned on about how the Paras had come across some hut in the Malvinas. Allegedly, out of the door came some American mercenaries. "Thank God it's you guys - thought it was the Argies", Weird related that they said. "Bad luck - and good night" followed by heavy bursts of 7.62mm was supposedly the reply from the Paras.
That's what Weird said, at any rate. I remember such appalling stories - even though it was 20 yeras ago.
