Agree with Seja, the main pros would be:
1. Great chance to travel & see new things
2. Nice aircraft, lots of facilities, good resources for the customers
3. Almost everything provided- house, transport, uniform, cleaning, doctor, so no real worries for bills
Main cons:
1. Schedules can be draining on the body/soul- be sure to take 'time out' when you can
2. Inconsistency between seniors/sometimes managers- what one says do, another says don't. Can be frustrating but I notice this seems to be getting better. Just a hazard of so many cultures working together I guess.
3. And the worst- customers. They can be VERY demanding. Yes they expect a lot as Emirates have a good reputation- butt here are a minority of them that you just CANNOT please. They think they should get First Class service even when they have not paid for it. They will shout at you, they will call you stupid, they will ask for 'complaint form', they sometimes make you go to the lavtory and cry so no one sees you- BUT-
THE NICE ONES WILL MAKE UP FOR THIS!!! In most cases those eman ones would not be pleased with anything you do, so save your energies and worries for the rest, and don't let the mean ones ruin you for the other passengers. They can't help it if the other one is rude to you. So, be nice to them.
You can go home and rage at the mirror all you want after the flight
You will have bad days, but there are plenty more good ones. Just please pelase take advice from the crew who are already there, even if you don't agree with it don't be diffiuclt. Remember that you wanted this job. I have flown with far too many altely with bad bad attitudes, in only their first or second month. I don't want to be around them and I'm sure the passengers don't either. If you are going to be one of these people, don't come. Let someone who wants to be there take your place.
If you are happy to come do the job, then great. Welcome. If you hate it, I'm not saying this in a eman way but after 6 months if it's not for you, then go. Nothing worse than miserable crew. They just make everyone else the same.
