Oh come on asianeagle....don't just slag everything off for the sake off it

The training is entirely paid for by CX and there is no bond...unlike many other asian airlines

colleagues of mine started on bypass pay at about 10 years 5 months with command courses in the offing at about 11 and a half years

...that hardly makes his comments wild inaccurate ramblings does it

Look I know everything here isn't all rosy but lets not try and find fault in absolutely everything just because

As for direct entry F/O's, its hardly surprising...nor would it be wrong.....THIS TIME (last time was a completely different matter) ..I'm not sure what sort of timescale he's working to but by the time it happens, I'm sure the only S/O's it will affect are the cadets with very little experience in the first place...yes I know they will be more senior and that its a problem of the company's own doing, but the economics of airline operations mean that sometimes there are disparities between seniority and experience.... some officers will have more of one than the other, and if whats lacking is the experience to sit in the seat then the company has to get it from somewhere else
