The other 152 that we have does have two lamps on the nose cowl but the one in question doesn't. We need it to have two independent light systems (landing and taxi). But to save ourselves from the trouble of getting a STC we just thought it would be easier to install a dual element lamp rather than make a structural modification to accommodate another lamp on the nose cowl. Have written to Cessna with the problem too, waiting to see what they can suggest. In the mean time I'm continuing with the search.
