When MXi goes fleet wide watch the amount of seniors stuck in front of a computer prior to departure.
Trying to get tasks deferred by planning who are busy having a coffee. It wont be j80000 getting flogged it will be MXI inabilities.
Red tape has been put in by base ops managers, the amount of crap frankie has put out there in the last few years is astounding, just so he can delegate all the work he has to do.

Base might be leaner in areas, but having the 380 and not investing in facilities from day 1 has caused more issues than anything else. Until recently having to tow 2 power units to NE/SE was crap.
Now having to tow 2 air con units so you can turn off the APU(as per policy) and keep the cabinn cool for the cleaners, that is crap.
Having to undo 30 metres of hose and tow the things for 500l of fuel every shift is crap.
Moving it around the jetbase you need 10 people to tow and marshall it, that is crap.
Not having proper stands and equipment to work on upper deck doors/slides is crap.
This is all stuff the readiness team were supposed to be sorting out.But when the aircraft arrived they all p!ssed off to office jobs and never finished the task they started.

I agree with hadagutfull that the 380 system is better not perfect but better.
