There's always something going down at Singas - if it isn't BA
blowing tyres or SIA going off the runway or somebody with
stuck brakes its some other bloody thing. Maybe its just been
my bad luck being rostered to SIN every time **** happens.
Thankfully these days I don't go there much anymore, but if
and when I do I always carry extra for those sudden runway
closures on top of everything else (wx/traffic holding etc). For
dep I usually triple the normal taxi fuel for those times when
I estimate ATC will refuse to tell me the pecking order for TO
just before pushback.
