Hey Smokie no doubt about it Flybe are doing extremely well on the IOM and JER routs out of LCY. I fondly remember all the weight restrictions when AS was operating the IOM and JER route, but lets face it they have no competition for the routes there. We all know that one BHD route has been dropped from LCY this year, well direct one anyway. The lunch time flight now goes via the IOM. Look at how many of those are only going to the IOM though. Take the 116. If there are more that 5 psgrs going through to BHD then you are lucky. Load factors as low as 25% during the week are not helping the situation either. I will be sorry to see LCY BHD go as I do have clients that use it but the writing as been on the wall since they downgraded to a Dash100. Flybes BIG problem is if there is competition then they throw the towel in. Look at STN . Go come in and Flybe disappear. Same with EDI at LCY. I know they have a good codeshare with Scotairways, but for how long???!
