It's just such a shame that no real cadet program other than QF's
has survived long term. The Tamair course was excellent except
the Spiv running the company was more interested in ripping his
cadets off by subsidising his airline than a long term approach.
It's not that hard to establish a cadet program in a decent well
run secondary airline.A clue for all aspirant pilots is get all the
theory behind them before even trying for jobs.Once you crack a
flying job you won't have time for theory/physics courses that are
mandatory for QF. A relative was an unfortunate victim of Tamairs
cadet program. Lost 25,000 cold to the above Spiv, but most of
the Tamair cadets are now in QF, poorer but wiser.
