Tax rates for pilots in Italy?

I would appreciate if someone could give me an idea of what sort of tax rate one could expect if living in Italy.

Are pilots subject to a "standard" tax rate, like any job, on full income or can deductions be made for daily allowance / per diems?
Are there any tax free elements of you income?
Deductions for working weekends and public holidays and stuff like in some countries? Does it matter if your wife works or not?

What if you would earn a "tax free" salary for example from Asia or the Middle East, but living and declaring your income in Italy? Would you be required to pay in some sort of social security "on top" of your income tax?

Any information or hints on where to turn to get some information would be appreciated.

Thanks.
