No i hadn't received anything prior to now. I also heard that the cadet positions were filled a month or so ago, but had also heard that there would possibly be more hiring early 2012. Originally I was told by the recruiting captain that there was 16 positions available, but through the graevine heard that only 12 were taken on, leaving the door open for early 2012. My PFO states:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your application for First Officer (Low Hours) received in our 2011/2012 recruitment season.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, you have not been selected for assessment and we will not be progressing your application further from this point."
I take from this, that even if there is more recruitment early in 2012, I will not be considered for it
