Maybe just a little bit, as your a more confident operator. Doing an MCC in a cardboard box does not always bring out the best in you.
I don't think anyone is suggesting doing the MCC in a cardboard box (whatever that means). I'm just saying that in hindsight I did rather well in my EFIS sim assessment and I had no prior EFIS exposure. I also don't really feel that having done my MCC at European on the old 737 gave me any advantage when doing the assessment on the NG 737.

The assessment is all about your personality and whether you can learn at a reasonable pace.

What I can say is that the European MCC gave me a pretty good grounding for my current multi crew corporate job. They seemed to hit on some of the more important parts of 2 crew operations and got me ready for what was to come during type rating and line training.
