Three unions were jeopardising the job security of 35,000 staff. "Qantas cabin crew, airport staff and short-haul pilots - these are some of the innocent bystanders in this dispute," he said. "Through no fault of their own, their jobs are now being put at risk by unions.

Hmmm! Would have thought that Management's spinning, rather than clarifying, their proposed offshoreing and outsourcing strategy is what's really underpinning the threat to QF employee job security.

But hey, what would I know. I only read the public press.
