I think that babotika's take on the easyJet deal on mainland Europe is completely correct. However, I also think that for many pilots in the UK, easyJet is not an average airline. I fully accept that current BA pilots would be unlikely to come here, but if I was at Thomas Cook right now I would be biting easyJet's hand off to come here. Just out of interest, how many airlines in the world can offer 93 different destinations from one base, as is the case at Gatwick? It is not all bad, and many people really enjoy it.
