I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I went to an OD today and they said to us that if we don't hear from them that we must wait 6 months to re-apply. But apply anyway and see what happens, just be honest and tell them. They can't really do anything but give you a fair chance if they messed up!(Someone from the UK did this and got the job 2nd try, before 6 months!)
