Thank you so much to everyone on here. Helped me so much. Especially with the nerves

Ok heres how it went down for me
Final Interview - 28th August
Grooming Email - 25th September
Golden Call - 6th October

Guys dont stress about your status online, I stressed so much and checked it like ten times a day, it never changed, just remained under review and I got my Golden Call so there you go

Everyone on here was so helpful getting me through it all.

I will go more in depth if this helps anyone, im glad to help

There was an Open Day here on the 26th of August but I was unable to make it as I was working. I got the invite to go to the assesment day which was the very next day.

Going into this, I decided to be my myself. I know this sounds silly. But I had previously tried for EK twice before and never made it past round two. So this time I went prepared and comfortable. I was completely one hundred percent myself. I even noticed during the course of the day i was very laughy and sometimes i was sitting on my hands :/ haha

They showed us a video of Dubai and the life style there and comments from FA's currently working for Emirates.
Than we were divided into two groups, I was in the second group and we were asked to come back at a certain time so we went out for lunch.

During the whole course of the day. I spoke to basically almost everyone. When it was my groups turn to go in. We were than divided again into two smaller groups, than asked to tell everyone about the person to your left and what their greatest acomplishment is. One of the recruiters stressed the words "please talk to the person on your left and than you have to present to the group what his/her greatest acomplishment is, and guys please keep it short". So i did, i stood up, spoke loud enough and clear and tried to make eye contact with the group. The whole time smiling

After that its end of Round One and people start getting cut. You are given a piece of paper which will explain to you whether or not you have made it to the next round.

The second round, and the group was alot smaller now. I would say it was about fifteen of us. Sitting in a circle. We were given a scenario where we are check in staff at the Emirates counter and our flight is fully booked. We are given a list of important people ie: Very famous person, Very Wealthy persons daughter etc and we had to discuss and chose who we thought should not get on the flight and who should. During this round I smiled and agreed with my group memebers as they were all on point and had the same ideas as me. Being myself, I chose not to talk too much and when I did speak my piece, it was short, clear and I put my point across as best I could. I wasnt loud or cutting people off and disagreeing with anyone.

Than its the end of Round Two and than comes the pieces of paper again.

There was about seven of us left and it was almost dinner time We were given forms to fill and told to go home and complete a Test that they will send to our email addresses and return tommorow for our Final one on one Interviews

I was about ten minutes early to my final interview. Dressed in a black skirt, white dress shirt and a black jacket with black heels. Hair tied back and lip stick on The recruiters were lovely and it was more like a chat to me. There were, ofcourse questions, which you will find on this forum. After my final interview they asked me to do the shapes test than it was done

And today at around 6pm Australian time, I got my Golden Call

My advice. Dont be scared or nervous going to the assesement days. I noticed when i had tried for emirates 2-3 years ago. I was nervous and sat as if i was having tea with the queen, back straight, hands on my lap etc. It just wasnt me and I probably looked really uncomfortable. I guess, they see this and know when you are being You.

Go in as yourself, smile, ofcourse be a lady/gentleman. Talk to people around you. I was like half an hour early for the assesement day so I made some amazing friends during the first half hour and we just all got along so well Dress smart. Be prepared and let your personality shine.

Also, I am married and have been married for three years. Something that I thought would be a definite No. If they love you, they will take you. So dont give up. This was my third time trying for emirates. Guess what they say is true Third times a charm

All the very best to everyone
